Self-centering stuffing box seals

We offer to adopt a self-centering stuffing box seal is proposed instead of the traditional one. This design makes it possible to increase the service life of the seal and reduce the leakage of the sealed liquid due to the self-centering of the packing axially with the shaft.

Industrial tests of the seals as part of condensate pumps KsVA 900-180 have shown that the sealing service life have increased by 5-6 times (practically from PPR to PPR), and condensate leakage has decreased by 8-10 times, reducing the “steaming” by radioactive aerosols and practically eliminating oil irrigation in the bearing behind the seal. This made possible to increase the reliability and efficiency of the pumping equipment operation.
